Scottish Arts Council focus on audience development
The Scottish Arts Council today announced funding for several projects designed to increase audiences for the arts. The grants are made from the Scottish Arts Council's National Lottery programme for Audience and Sales Development established in 1999.

Scottish Arts Council welcomes changes at children's festival
It is a real delight to be part of an event like this which heralds the growth of such an important organisation. It is the biggest event of its kind for children in Britain and a major achievement of commitment and sheer hard work over ten years.Their aim that "all children in Scotland, by the age of twelve will have had a positive experience of the performing arts" says much about where we all want to go in the future, not just in the arts but with how we want children to experience the world.
