Disability Arts Network? Report

Published 2009

Since developing a disability strategy in 2000 and adopting the Social Model of Disability in 2001, the Scottish Arts Council has sought greater strategic development of art by, with and about disabled people on a Scotland-wide basis and to this end appointed Phyllis Steel, a highly experienced Scottish arts practitioner, to bring disabled artists together with relevant organisations to look at possible ways forward. This report represents a summary of that meeting, held on 1st October 2008.
