The Youth Music Initiative has launched its new online portal for Youth Music Forums across Scotland.
The new online portal is available for any youth music stakeholder to sign up and access wherever they are in Scotland and offers a broad and exciting range of youth music news and developments, as well as regional sites that will be updated and maintained by the 16 established youth music forums in Scotland currently:
Aberdeen | Aberdeenshire | Dumfries & Galloway | Dundee
East Lothian | Edinburgh | Falkirk | Fife
Glasgow | Inverclyde | Moray | Orkney
Scottish Borders | Shetland | Stirling | West Lothian
Built on a social networking platform users will be able to sign up to the site and:
- LEARN about activities and opportunities going on in their area through a group and events directory
- NETWORK with others, discuss issues and contribute to the local youth music forum.
- PROMOTE their organisation / business / events by adding them to the group and events directory
The site has been funded by the Youth Music Initiative and is being managed by the Scottish Music Centre.
