Visual arts
What’s so fine About Fine Arts?
Imagine a world without art. A world without pictures, without photographs, without images, without statues and sculptures. It's not so good is it? The visual arts can enrich our lives, they can interpret and define the world around us, they can make us stop and think.
Fine art influences our culture, fashion, the environment and style. Fine artists work not only in contemporary art but also in other career areas like film, publishing, video, and arts administration, where the value of art training is increasingly recognised. The majority of fine artists attend art college where they can study painting, sculpture, film, photography and other disciplines. There, they can develop individual styles and specialisms and learn to express their ideas.
